Israel- Day 1 to Day 3

After we went to Hongkong we headed to Israel to spend our New year. It was very tiring because we traveled for atleast 12 hours from Hongkong then Istanbul and finally Israel. Our first stop is in Tel Aviv. Tel Aviv is the second most popular city in Israel after Jerusalem. It is one of the most busiest city in Israel also. We stayed at David Continental Hotel and they have the most beautiful view ever because you will see the long beach from the top of the hotel.
After we dropped our luggages at our hotel and settle anything that we needed we went to Joppa/Jaffa a city between south and north of Israel.
This is the House of Simon the Tanner that can be read on Acts 10:9-13.

We had our dinner at the Hotel and it was their Shabbat day and for us of course we call it Sabbath. Shabbat is a Jewish day of rest and seventh day of a week and it is a festive day when Jews exercise their freedom from the regular labors of everyday life. It offers an opportunity to contemplate the spiritual aspects of life and to spend time with family.
Day 2: Caesaria
Caesaria was developed by King Herod the Great and was repeatedly destructed because of storms and wars. In Arab Period Caesaria was the most prosperous land that goes into the hands of Muslim. Caesaria is a City made from dreams, where past, present and future are combined.

Some people also call Caesaria  as a Mini Rome of Israel because of some Structures that you may also see in Rome. And one example for it is the Ampitheatre below that the Romans used during the ancient times for Gladiator wars on their own bloody entertainment.

Our second destination was at Mt. Carmel. The sculpture below represents the victory of Elijah. The statue at the Carmelite monastery reflects the Lord's victory over the prophets of Baal.

Then we headed to Nazareth. Nazareth has the honor of being known as the "home town" of Jesus Christ. In fact, many Christian people often refer to their Savior as "Jesus of Nazareth".
One of the greatest ironies about Nazareth is that, although it is now world-famous as the Savior's home town, the people of His time held Him with such low regard, to the point of contempt and even outright hate.

Third Day: Galilee
For the Third day we woke up so early to go at Sea of Galilee to feed the seagulls and also to learn more about the stories behind that place.
The Sea of Galilee is fed by the Jordan River, rainfall and springs on the northern side. It was on these beautiful shores that Jesus delivered sermons and performed miracles. Many famous sites are located around the lake, including Capernaum, home to at least five of the twelve disciples. The Church of the Beatitudes is said to be where the Sermon of the Mount was preached and Tabgha, believed to be the site where Jesus fed 5,000 followers from five loaves of bread and two fish, is marked by The Church of Multiplication. The nearby lakeside town of Migdal is the hometown of Mary Magdalene.
The boat below is the Sea of Galilee Boat also known as the "Jesus Boat". It was an ancient fishing boat from the 1st century in the time of Jesus.
Second Destination wan on the Synagogue in Galilee, which means a "congregation," in New Testament it is used to signify a recognized place of worship.
Our last Destination in day 3 was on Jordan River where Jesus was baptized. And I am proud to say to all of you guys that I was also baptized in Jordan river.

Walking in the footsteps of Jesus Christ was a fascinating experience for me especially that I got a chance to be baptized in Jordan River. Because of it, I am so excited to post more photos about my journey in Israel. I hope all of you guys would enjoy reading this post;)
